About me
Jennifer has twenty-one years of experience as an educator and has taught biology, chemistry, physics, physical science, computer science, and undergraduate education courses. She is the Technology Integration Specialist at ESU 1.
Jennifer completed her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Technology and Science Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2022. Her dissertation focused on utilizing chatbots to create guided learning experiences in the science classroom. Through her research, she demonstrated the feasibility and value of chatbots in making learning more interactive, personalized, and engaging for students.
She is an expert in a broad range of tools and techniques across all grade levels and works hard to blend quality technology usage with research-based pedagogy. Jennifer lives in Wayne, Nebraska with her husband, four cats, a dog, and the two of her four kids still at home. She likes to read and travel whenever she gets the chance.
